The UltraMount is a high precision XY adjustable mirror mount. Its small physical size can fit into tight areas and offer very precise XY adjustments of dichroic filters, PBS cubes, front surface mirrors and a variety of other optical elements. No other MM-1 clone can compare to the features of this instrument. The UltraMount features 1/4x80 tpi stainless steel screws with ball tips with a large range of movement. The free plate (plate that moves) measures 1.25" x 1.25" and features a .6" diameter deep counter bored hole with a huge .5" clear aperture. Mount comes with a nylon tipped #6 setscrew that can snugly hold a 15mm diameter dichroic filter commonly used in the entertainment industry. The fixed plate (the plate that dosn't move) measures 1.375" x 1.375" "Open Back Design" angle features both a #8-32 D&T hole as well as a #6-32 D&T hole for mounting on flat plates or angle brackets. The "L Shaped" back allows a huge entrance aperture for beam combining or color mixing uses. Beam height "Center of Free Plate" is .75" from each mounting surface.
