The Triplett remote identifiers are small units used in conjunction with the Triplett PairMaster for LAN cable identification. They properly terminate the LAN cable when connected to a wall jack. The identifiers contain the necessary circuitry to allow the PairMaster to verify proper wiring within the cable. The 2 remote identifiers have an overvoltaged LED which lights to indicate the presence of damaging voltage.
