New old stock (NOS) ATA 40-pin drive cable extensions / jumper cables, ribbon cable extensions, 4" long. Male at one end, female at other. Pin and pin row spacing is 0.1"; two parallel rows of 20 pins each. The white thing on right is a protector for the pins on male end. Great for hard drives, floppy drives, CDROM drives, DVD drives, and other devices that has these connectors. Relieves stresses on stretched cables. These are great even if the ribbon cables inside your computer are long enough because you can use them to pigtail your drives, making them much easier to connect up and disconnect and remove - you simply plug the extension onto the device, insert the device inside the computer, then plug up the extension to the main cabling, and reverse the process to remove device.
