This unit was unpacked and never used. It sat on a shelf with 3 others until now. It has been tested to be working and calibrated with Microscribe testing software and also tested with Rhino 3D software. Besides a very, very few minor scratches and the "Microscribe 2GX" glue-on decal peeling, it is as new. Like I said, never used until I plugged it in for testing.
Additional Notes: This item does not come with software. This model has 5 degrees of rotation. It has a resolution of .009". If you need more technical info check www.revware.net. They sell this Microscribe there for $5495. These photos are of the Microscribe in the worst condition. I do have THREE currently for sale having already sold one of them. The Microscibe in the photos has 4 or 5 small dings on the bottom of the counter weight if you very look closely. The others are even cleaner in condition. I made sure to make my photos to best show ANY damage at all on the digitizer. Again, all have been tested with microscribe's software to check the calibration and functionality of the digitizer and the foot petals. As for condition these are a 9.7 out of 10.
Please also note that each of these units comes with the power supply and the ability to plug into USB or serial ports. Plugging the unit into the USB port makes the power supply unnecessary. These are not old, reworked, former serial port only digitizers. They even come with the original hex bolt to attach them to a work
