Features: Lamp heads on all models of the B-100 Series lamps are mounted onto pistol-grip handles that balance well in the hand. These ergonomically designed units reduce operator fatigue. The grip handle on all models (except the B-100SP) fits into the transformer base allowing the lamp head to rotate a full 360 . The self-ballasted B-l00SP requires no external transformer. The patented Cool-TouchTM lamp housing allows users to handle the lamp head regardless of how long the lamp has been on. These rugged lamp heads are molded from a special heat-resistant plastic. Unlike the wire-cage housings of competitive lamps, these lamp housings are safe - never too hot to touch. This feature comes standard on AP, YP, and SP models. All UVP high powered ultraviolet lamps can be placed face down on a working surface without damage to the filter
B-100AP: Provides 100 watts of high-intensity longwave illumination. This lamp features the Cool-Touch housing. At 18 inches (457 mm) the B-100AP produces a highly intense center of UV irradiance about 5 inches (127 mm) in diameter. The lamp head is connected to the transformer base by an 8 foot cord. CSA listed.
