DORC's ZX-1 nano Fiber Optic Inspection Monitor Scope
DORC's ZX-1 nano is designed specifically to inspect fiberoptic connectors for contamination or surface scratches on the ferrule or fiber endface. The hand-held (HH) unit has a built-in LCD monitor to provide inherently eye-safe viewing of potentially "live" connectors. Conventional direct viewing microscopes usually contain laser filters to absorb or reflect the invisible laser radiation. However, it is impossible for the operator to know if such precautions are in place and providing effective protection.
Built-in 5.0" LCD monitor. A video port is also provided for connection to an external monitor
X350 combined optical and electronic magnification using the built-in 5.0" LCD monitor. X850 combined optical and electronic magnification using the optional 12" external monochrome monitor
Built-in Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable battery.
Each ZX-1 nano HH is supplied in a rugged carrying case
Universal connector chuck - accepts most PC or APC connectors with a 2.5mm (or optionally a 1.25mm) ferrule
