12V electrical timer relay [release/off-delay 12VDC
Releco/Schrack OFF-DELAY timer relay module.
Timing Range: 0.2 seconds to 12 minutes with four selectable ranges: 0.2~3sec, 0.8~12sec, 0.1~1.5min, 0.8~12min.
Within each range the delay time can be adjusted using an analog "thumbwheel" adjuster marked 1~10.
Power Requirements: 12Vdc [relay coil voltage]
Output : DPDT, DPCO [i.e. double pole change-over relay]
Output is volt-free. i.e. output switching contacts are totally independent of voltage used to power unit. Relay can be used to switch any supply or signal within maximum rating.

Function: OFF-delay. [also known as Release delay]
The supply of power to the timer is shown as line "u". The supply of power to aux. terminal B1 is shown as line "s". The operation of the relay output is shown as the third line.

OFF-DELAY: Power should be permanently supplied to the timer [shown as line "u" in the diagram]. The output contacts transfer immediately to their "on" position when +12V is supplied to terminal B1. Removal of +12V from terminal B1 initiates the preset delay timing. At the end of the preset delay period the output contacts reset to their "off" position.
Module comprises Releco "timecube" model CT2~A20/s with Schrack Relay MT221012 and a din mounting relay base. The Releco Timecube Sytem details can be viewed using the following link:

Timing adjustment is approximate but the timer is oscillator/microprocessor controlled with accurate repeatability. Once set the timer will repeat within 99.5% accuracy. However do not expect to be able to set times with stop-watch precision. This is not a programmable clock or a programmable digital timer.
Mounting: Standard Din-Rail Mounting Relay base. Fits a 35mm width [consumer unit style] din rail. Or can be independently panel mounted with two fixing screws.
