The OMNI Flip Over Cultipacker will convert your ATV or UTV into a foodplot planting tool. Most foodplot seeds require a shallow planting depth. One alternative to expensive drills and row planters is to broadcast seed and then use a cultipacker to press the seed into the prepared soil.
There are many brands and qualities of cultipackers on the market competing for the outdoorsman's dollar. With our flip over cultipacker we are trying to give you the build quality of more expensive machines with pricing at the lower end of the spectrum.
We start with a stout 3/16" x 4" x 4" crossbar and add 1/2" x 6 x 16" end plates. A 1 3/4" solid still axle is carried in greaseable flange bearings with two offset set screws. A zinc coated locking collar on each ends prevents the 9" cultipacker wheels from rubbing on the end plates or bearings. There is a 36" long flip over tongue attached. To add ease of transport to your food plot we put low speed 9" knobby tires on each end. If you want to avoid the worry of low or flat tires we can upgrade to Marathon flat free tires for $50 so you don't have to carry an air compressor around "just in case".
The 48" working width is only 11" inches less than the overall width of the cultipacker itself. The total package weighs in at 335lbs so it can be moved around by one man.
We apply two coats of light gray implement paint over one coat of primer to protect your investment from the elements. Kubota Orange, John Deere Green, or Ford/New Holland Blue enamel paint is available for an additional $50.
