For Sale - Purchased new in 2003 Brandt KD-66/2 Optimat Edgebander one owner/ operator, which is me. I will be happy answer any ?'s about this machine because this is an awesome machine. I am semi- retiring and this machine is meant for high production - too big for any thing I will need it for. as you can see in the third picture it only has a total of 200+/- hours. I have run many kitchens and commerical jobs in that time. Below is a description of its features. This machine has a Infra red pre-heater unit, Large glue pot for pellets, Roll feeder and Strip feeder, Quillotine cutter, Large initial pressure roller then two subsequint rollers, Two saw end trim unit, Upper and lower high frequency routers for straight trimming, then upper and lower high frequency routers for angle or radius trimming and finally upper and lower polishers. This machine will run 3mm, Laminate strips, Roll PVC banding, Wood roll, Wood strips up to nearly 1/4" thickness great for slab wood doors Euro-style. This machine has been pampered! When I was shopping for a bander I started out looking for a used machine, But none without big problems were to be found. So instead of ending up with a $30,000. paper weight I purchaced a new one. This machine is not a lemon or repo. Its a great bander that is still hooked up and operating. I know there are a lot of other machines out there now but not as nice as this one and I believe you will get much more machine life for your money. Check it out!!!
