Free standing control panel with SCR power controller. Accepts 1/4 DIN temperature controls -
Does not include temperature control instruments. Can be quoted seperately.
* Air operated vertical lift front door.
* Heat is supplied by rod type heating elements mounted on both side walls, floor, and rear wall.
* Interior chamber is lined with light weight refractory. Floor is light weight refractory between brick piers. Door jambs are insulating firebrick. Door is lined with light weight refractory.
* Can be used with inert atmosphere and can be quick cooled by an included external 3hp blower moving air through "U" shaped alloy cooling tubes hung vertically along the side and rear walls. Cooling can occur while the furnace is under atmosphere.
* Power to the heating elements is through SCR control. The temperature control instruments have been removed, wires are in place for easy connection of new controls, replacement controls can be quoted. Electrics are mounted in a totally enclosed free standing panel.
* Includes Electrical Schematics, Prints, and Manuals.
* Interior light weight refractory is in good condition with no melted areas. Some spots are slightly compressed or gouged.
* Floor brick piers are intact, and may need little repair or repointing.
* Heating elements are rod type and are in good condition. Some have been rewelded, and all are intact.
* Door jambs have some loose brick and could use repair or rebricking. Any handyman can chip out damaged brick and replace with new hi-temp brick and mortar for very little money. Complete door jamb professional replacement/repair costs $3000 - $3500.
* Exterior condition is good with paint scratches, slight surface rust, and heat discoloration around door opening. No cracks or warping.
* Door steel plate opening (front of furnace) is good and very heavy construction. It is not warped or cracked.
* Top of furnace is in good condition and is not burnt or warped.
* Door is in good shape, not warped, and closes onto a high temperature gasket which is in good condition.
* Door boom, air lift cylinder, lift components are present and in good shape.
* Alloy cooling tubes have been removed from inside the oven and are present. Cooling tube holes can be stuffed with hi-temp insulation for use without atmosphere.
* Cooling blower motor in good condition, spins freely.
* Unit was removed from a jet engine manufacturer and was in operating condition.
