Haemonetics corp. model 30-s blood processor, pheresis

We were able to test this unit, and it responded very well. Unit powers on without any problems, and when each button is pressed, the device reacts properly. When we first powered it on, a light came on in the middle chamber, and we could hear what sounds like a fan in the back. We then pressed the 'Empty' button, and the right-hand peristaltic pump began to rotate counter-clockwise. After that, we pressed the 'Stop' button to the left of the 'Empty' button, and the pump stopped turning. Next, we pressed the button marked 'WBC' which caused a few things to happen. This time, the right-hand, small spindle-looking thing above the control panel clicked (I honestly don't know what this piece is, or what to call it, sorry), the centrifuge in the middle chamber began spinning very fast, and both peristaltic pumps began turning clockwise. By pressing the 'PLT' button, everything kept going like it was, except this time both of the little thing-a-ma-bobs clicked. We then pressed the 'Fill' button, and everything kept going, except the LEFT thingy clicked. We also found that the speed control knob accurately controls the speed of the pumps (in other words, when we turned up the speed, the pumps rotated faster).
