On offer are 2 new (one pair, old stock) pieces of Mini-Circuits SKY-60LH Double Balanced Mixer. These are high quality, high performance, professional RF mixers, often used in transverters for up/down conversion.

* Surface mount ceramic package, but not too small - hand solderable
* Hard to find - especially outside the US
Mixers are at the core of most RF projects and often determine overall performance, so it's worth using the best you can get. This pair would give a professional edge to many ham projects.
It took me a couple of years to track these down at a reasonable price, but there are few mixers made which can do the same job. Their very broad bandwidth, both RF and IF, makes for a versatile building block for anyone working with 'amateur' microwaves. Passive diode mixers are symmetrical thus can both upconvert and downconvert.
These are well suited to extending the range of a spectrum analyser to cover the 9cm (3.3-3.6GHz) and 6cm (5.65-5.85GHz) bands and for building transverters and other comms equipment for those bands.
They are easily driven to 10dBm with modern MMICs (see my other listings...).

The Mini-Circuits price is $16.95 US each . However, as you might already know, ordering direct from Mini-Circuits from overseas can be an expensive business. This is reflected in the price at Barend Hendriksen, who charges Eu 40.61 each ( 72 a pair!) for these parts.
