Vintage simplex house, barn, railroad 2 x 10 screw jack
This is an old high quality Simplex screw jack. It says on one side - Simplex, Chicago; and on the other side it says - 2 x 10, Patents Pending. On the top cap it has - Simplex, Drop Forged, Ball Bearing. Someone has ground H T on the side near the top, probably the orignal owner.
The jack measures about 14 1/2" high screwed down and 23 1/2" high fully extended. It has an easy moving ball bearing top cap that measures about 3 1/4" in diameter; the bottom base end measures about 6 1/2" in diameter.
It is in good condition with some wear. I see no cracks.
