The Searmaster employs TEC's patent-pending infra-red burner, which is constructed entirely of sheet steel, in conjunction with its patented stainless steel radiant emitter panel system. This approach cooks foods using 100% infra-red radiant energy and provides a cooking surface that's evenly heated within 5%. The SearMaster II also consumes about 65% less gas than standard charbroilers with atmospheric burners.
