Labeler eam mini st 300 sensomatic tagger
In perfect working order when removed from production. Comes with trigger sensor and mounting bracket. The MINI-ST, a small sized source tagging label applicator is specifically designed to easily integrate into any OEM manufacturing operation. The unit weighs only 14 pounds and is more than 50% smaller than existing label applicators and applies tags at rates of up to 250 parts per minute. Integrating the tagging process into existing automation has been a difficult and costly process for many retail product manufacturers, and, space is at a premium on most manufacturing floors, explains Steve Swinburne, president of EAM, Inc. The MINI-ST is small enough to easily adapt into most production lines to give retail product manufacturers the immediate ability to cost effectively source tag without any major disruption. EAM can custom integrate the MINI-ST into a manufacturing operation to accommodate the various types of EAS labels, thus preventing any user adjustments or additional set-up. The MINI ST has a patented applicator head which reliably stamps the EAS tag onto the item without using air or vacuum, a feature that ensures reliability in application and also prevents future user adjustments. Source tagging is the application of EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) labels onto products or packaging during the manufacturing or packaging process. Many retail products have these EAS labels or tags which are anti-theft devices that trigger alarms at or near store exits when the tags have not been deactivated at the checkout. Major retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Ames, recently committed to chainwide implementation of EAS systems thus requiring many of their OEM suppliers to quickly implement source tagging into their manufacturing operations. Source tagging will benefit these retailers by giving them the ability to have more open merchandising of high-theft products.
