'Composition: A thick alumina coated grade with a cobalt-enriched substrate. Application: Grade KC9025 can be considered the industry's best high-speed, general purpose tuming grade. Workpiece applications include most steels. ferritic and martensitic stainless steels, and irons. The smooth coating results in less microchipping, reduced frictional heat, and produces better surface finishes. The substrate maintains both toughness and edge strength. Performs well in moderately heavy roughing to semifinishing.
