Kenwood ts-120S (with one small problem) lqqk

little scuffs. There is a blemish on the right side where the previous owner had a piece of Velcro to hang his
mic on. All glass/plastic lenses are perfect, no scratches or smudges. NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS! This
radio has one small problem. When I plug the 12 volt power cord into the rear of the radio the heat sink
which is the back of the radio starts to heat up. It does this without turning on the power switch. With the
power switch in the off position it will continue to heat up and eventually the fan will come on. The heat
sink will continue to get hotter. If I turn the radio on during this heat up period, it works normally. It transmits
and receives on all bands. The meter works as it should. the digital readout works as it should. All knobs
and switches work as they should and all switches are CLEAN.The front panel is flawless, no signs of wear.
Alignment on this radio is good. It has had good care. For more specs on this radio, go to
