LOW HOUR TH-347 TETRODE TUBE INCLUDED!
Here we have a TTC XL-1000-MU TV Broadcast Transmitter. This unit is in operating condition. It was purchased new by the current owner in 1993 and removed from service in November 2009. They made a conversion to Digital Broadcasting. This unit was used as a transmitter, and was on UHF Channel 14.The original modulator is included and installed. It also has included and installed the required TH-347 Tetrode Transmitter tube. The TH-347 Tube was installed on 4/10/09, and ran until November 2009, so it should be in great shape with a lot of life left. They paid about $3,000.00 for the tube in April 2009! The transmitter was operating fine when removed from service, other than needing to be tweaked occasionally to maintain full power of 1000 watts. Probably could use a cleaning and tune up. The original manual is included along with a few spare parts.
