Gorgeous Antique French Mannequin Similar to Stockman 1
For sale - This gorgeous vintage French mannequin dates from around the 1930s/40s. I just love it when I find antique mannequins in this wonderful condition - gently aged, with all the signs which make her a genuinely vintage piece, but with virtually no damage to the fabric covering and the base is in great condition. There are a few old inactive worm holes but the base is very sturdy. I have treated the holes just in case. The fabric covering has that lovely age darkened look, with no rubbing or fraying at the shoulders or neck. There is one tiny blemish to the calico bodice approx. 1 cm square, as pictured and no water marks. She can be adjusted in height by way of the turnkey and she has an lovely ornate finial which means she was a higher quality (Haute Couture) mannequin.She will look fantastic in a Shabby Chic setting.
