THIS "DREAM MACHINE" IS ONE OF THE FINEST SEWING MACHINES ON THE MARKET TODAY
In addition to all the BUILT-IN STITCHES, and the fact that this Necchi will SEW EVERYTHING
from silk to leather, it also WALKED thru 2 layers of GENUINE COWHIDE LEATHER (appx 1/4" total thickness)
like it was WARM BUTTER ! I used the WALKING FOOT and BOTH #69 and #92 UPHOLSTERY THREAD
YOU CAN USE BOTH #69 and #92 UPHOLSTERY THREAD WITH THIS SEWING MACHINE !
I have been in the sewing machine business for almost 50 YEARS
and I would not say, or advertise, something that is not true.
It will even sew KNIFE SHEATHS ! I made the one pictured above
out of 2 pieces of HEAVY COWHIDE LEATHER appx. 1/8" each, for a
total thickness of appx. 1/4", and this machine had NO PROBLEM sewing it.
