For your consideration, this Parker Eagle brand 5" stiff boning knife with stainless steel blade, and a 4 3/4" wood handle, big enough to be a handful with two large rivets holding it on and a large hole for hanging or a lanyard. There are no splits in the handle and the blade is tight with no separation from handle. The only marking on the knife is an eagle stamped on the handle which is indicative of the Parker Eagle brand. The blade is 3/32" thick as it leaves the handle, and tapers to the end and is bevel ground. Blade does not appear to have been sharpened, still has factory edge. This is not one of those mamby pamby tinfoil knives that bends when you try to cut a tomato, this is a knife that is used in meat markets to bone beef,pork, etc. This is a great knife for boning that side of beef or just every day kitchen use. A fine addition to any kitchen, restaurant or butcher shop. condition is very good preowned.
