Bags are single-use flexible containers for sterile fluid containment and processing of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostic products. Lightweight and sterile, they virtually eliminate the cleaning, storage, and sterilization costs associated with reusable containers. Ideal for storage and processing of tissue culture media, harvest collection, buffer solutions, and other sterile fluids. These bags are sterile to 10-6 SAL, and are nonpyrogenic and noncytotoxic.
Built-in handles allow for easy transport from bench top to dispensing hoods. Two EVA tubing ports with clip clamps and 9.5mm (3/8") polypropylene hose barbs allow for easy connections with tubing. Bags also have a third port with septum. Individually packaged in double-lined cartons for cleanroom use. Each bag has a manufacturing lot number embossed into bag film that can be traced back to all major manufacturing components, including film, tubing, and hose barbs.
Bag film is manufactured from EVA-based, multilayer, lay-flat tubing with high barrier properties for UV light, CO2, O2, and water vapor. Clip clamps for use as secondary clamps on bags available separately.
