Heavy-Duty Kimax Filter Flask, Detachable Sidearm
A N.O.S. (new "old" stock) 250mL flask. Will be taken from the manufacturer's box that arrived here under the original seal (box not included).
Designed from ASTM Specification E1406, Type III, Class 2 requirements. Accepts 5/16" I.D. flexible tubing. Made with a heavier wall than a standard Erlenmeyer flask. Also, the piece has a very thick lip to increase durability of the flask. Constructed of top-quality Kimble Kimax glass.
This patented design offers many benefits:
-The removable sidearm reduces the chance of glassware breakage that comes with attempting to free stuck tubing from glassware.
-The sidearm has two ears to provide a finger grip for easy insertion and removal from the neoprene grommet.
-The sidearm is an autoclavable.
-The sidearm is bent to reduce the tendency of the rubber hose to overturn the empty flask.
