Keithley 2601/2602 digital i/o driver board
This is an active adapter board for Kethley 2600 series source meters. It connects to the DB25 digital I/O port and allows controlling various loads such as valves and relays from all of the I/O channels. This makes it possible to improve timing and accuracy of many physical measurements as well as to simplify the entire measurement system. The driver board also has direct and inverted input connections to trigger measurements and other communications with the instrument.
Digital I/O, DB-25 female, for connecting to the digital I/O port of the Keithley sourcemeter system (cable included).
Direct inputs, 4 x BNC female, digital I/O channels 1-4. For backward compatibility with the passive trigger adapter board and TTL instruments.
Inverted inputs, 4 x 8-pin Phoenix male. CMOS open-drain inverters connected to digital I/O channels 1-14. Normal input level is low.
Inverted outputs, 4 x 8-pin Phoenix male. Power MOSFET open-drain outputs connected though a different set of inverters to digital I/O channels 1-14. Normal output state is open. Maximum load current is 750 mA*, maximum voltage 20 VDC*.
DC Power, barrel, -shield +center, 5-20V*, depending on desired voltage for the controlled load.
Individual digital I/O channel levels (inverted, LED state corresponding to power output state, normally off).
