I have been very happy myself with the quality and the utility of these antennas. I have a hodgepodge of ht's; Vertex, Yaesu, Wouxum, and Kenwood. I really like the "NON" stiff HT antenna. I have broken several standard HT antennas and/or damaged the antenna connectors from sitting on them, getting in or out of trucks or cars, or just snagging them on things and dropping the expensive HT on hard surfaces ....etc, now the oops drops are much-much less often.
