* The 59" Nelson Wrap Dispenser brings with it ergonomics to the traditional hand held dispensers, and eliminates the need to bend or reach to wrap low or high skids. Its SAFETY FIRST design allows the operator to walk easily around the load without back strain. In addition, there is a tension control plus brake at the operator s fingertips that allows for the tightest wrap needed. The modular design allows for quick cylinder exchange, and the self-oiling UHMPW material allows for smooth, consistent action.
We have been using the Nelson Wrapper... and are extremely satisfied with the performance... Not only does it do a much better job of wrapping a pallet, but we are more impressed by the 100% reduction of lower back and shoulder injuries. Even with the low cost of purchasing a Nelson Wrapper, we would not trade ours for 10 Conventional units. Our special thanks to Nelson Phero for inventing a much needed tool for the Industry.
I have personally used the Nelson Wrap [Dispenser]... It is easy to use, saves time, and saves backs. I have a strained lower back and it hurts when I use conventional wrap dispensers, but when I use the Nelson Wrap Dispenser I feel no pain or strain on my lower back!
In my twenty years in the maintenance department I have witnessed back bending and dangerous procedures of wrapping skids. There had to be a better idea out there... There seems to be a missing link... The NWD is that key link; it saves time, money, and more importantly the back... This is truly a cost-effective tool for any company regardless of size.
