Bausch & Lomb Research Binocular Microscope, Quad. This is a Research grade microscope, with advanced features for documentation. This is a brightfield microscope with Plan Achromat optics. There are three objectives, 10X, 40X and 100X oil (0.18mm coverslip thickness).Rack & pinion condenser. Coaxial X/Y positioner stage. Interpupil adjustment. Coaxial fine and course focus. The two eyepieces are 15X widefield.
The illumination is an advanced Bal Plan Kohler illumination, with focus, vertical and horizontal controls. Besides binocular viewing there are two other ports (quad). The first has a polaroid camera and the second has a video camera. The video camera has it's own focus. You can use the existing cameras or put you own in. There is a power supply with control for illumentation; the cord is frayed, but functional.The microscope was designed for extremely flate fields for camera documentation.
