DONALDSON Ultrafilter Sterile Gas Filter Element
This item is a new replacement filter element for a DONALDSON Ultrafilter Sterile Gas Filter with Industrial-Style Housing. The filter element is appropriate for use at 162 cfm Nominal flow. It is the Ultrafilter International model P-SRF-0027-ELEMENT. These sterile gas filters are designed for use in chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, brewery, dairy and food applications. Filter cartridges utilize a borosilicate media with polyester wrap and stainless steel supports for added strength. Each is validated according to HIMA (ASTM) to have an absolute retention rate of 99.99% at 0.01 m; bacterial retention of LRV >7/cm2 for T1 Coliphage. All cartridge components meet FDA requirements for contact with food (CFR 21). Filter elements are in compliance with current Good Manufacturer Practice (cGMP) guidelines and have passed the USP Class VI toxicology test for plastics. The filter medium does not have binders or chemical additives.
