* Ridgid 141 Geared Die Head. This die head threads 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2", and 4" pipe with one set of dies. It also has a jaw clutch which prevents jamming. A simple adjustment will let you cut both tapered (NPT) and straight threads (NPSM). This die head also has a cam-type workholder that sets instantly and a fully enclosed gear housing. This 141 die head and all of the accessories are clean enough on the inside and outside you could eat your lunch off of them! Take a look at all of the photos and see if you agree.
This die head shows very few signs of prior use. Everything moves and turns as smoothly and tightly as a well made Swiss watch. You will not find any slop or play anywhere on this bad boy! This die head has been kept dry, well oiled, and clean. There is no rust anywhere! The pipe cutting dies are also in excellent condition and look almost new. No chips, dings, or rust in any of the cutting dies (see photo 5).
I personally inspected the gears inside the gear housing. All of the gears are sharp and none of the gears have any chipped or broken teeth. I also tested this die head threading 4 inch pipe and it works perfectly as it should. I am very confident and excited about this die head! This Ridgid 141 die head should give you several lifetimes of trouble-free service! I can not imagine anyone ever being able to wear out a Ridgid 141 die head in a single lifetime. This Ridgid 141 die head is built like a army tank! Also included, is a Ridgid wrench for the die head and a non-Ridgid carrying case. * 844 Drive Bar and 758 Loop. This drive bar and loop fits and is designed to be used with a Ridgid 300 threading machine. This loop holds the Ridgid 141 die head onto the Ridgid 300 support bars (see photo11). Ridgid's retail list price for this drive bar and loop is $160.45.
* 774 Square Drive Adapter. This 774 adapter fits and is designed for a Ridgid 700 Power Drive (pony). See photo 13. Ridgid's retail list price is $99.45
* Ridgid Heavy Duty 4-S Pipe Cutter. Cuts pipe from 2" to 4". No chips or dings on the cutting wheel. This pipe cutter turns very smooth. No slop, play, or binding when opening or closing this pipe cutter. I am also including a new extra cutting wheel. It is always a good idea to have a extra cutting wheel on hand (see photo 19).
