Our plasma cutters require a supply of compressed air. Not a huge amount, and nothing fancy, as our plasma cutters come complete with a filter/regulator. This plasma cutter is capable of cutting through 12mm metal plate quickly and with ease. In fact, you can cut up to 18mm by running the torch slower over the metal, but the edges will not be as neat. This is sometimes known as a sever cut.
