Gallmeyer & Livingston No. 45 Hydraulic Surface Grinder. Serial # S-45537.
It has a 12x24 Walker electromagnetic chuck. 110/115 volt. Serial# AM1059-699.
Comes with an almost new grinding wheel. It also has the wheel dresser mounted over the wheel.
This grinder has been rebuilt about 8 years ago and operates very well. The only thing wrong with it is that the motor pulley is worn and it sends vibration into the wheel and your part. This only effects the finish of the part and not the size, as the part will check perfectly flat and parrallel. Unfortionatly we need a better finish than what we were getting so we had to replace. It gets about a 32 finish.
This grinder weighs aproximatly 6000 to 7000 lbs. just guessing.
