That's right, It works great with 500/600 ohm input radios (current production 2-way radios) and also the "old tube type" high impedance radios. I have re-wired these to work on an old Browning and others and they sound crisp and clear. Some people think you are running an Astatic D104. Got a radio that sounds kinda muddy and not enough highs? Try one of these, I think you will be pleased. Check out the second picture, it comes with a quality metal mike hanger on the back too.
