Good running Galion Crane for sale. Ideal for a person building a log home on their own as the price of this unit would be far cheaper than renting a crane for months on end and you could sell it afterwards. It could also be utilized in any weld/machinery type business as a yard crane also.
Capacity of the crane is 12.5 tons max. This is dependent on angle of the boom, extrended length and rotational angle of the boom and sheeve. The boom is is 48' and could easily have a gib built by a decent welder for extended reach. If you look at the video

I am lifting the front of a Military 5 Ton dump truck which weighs about 26,000Lbs on a single line lift. In a single line application lift speeds are increased which means hoisting a 10'x12'x16' white oak log (about 1,000Lbs) in place would be a breeze. I am also showing the movement and braking of the unit there.
In this second video it shows the outriggers working and the four wheel steer operating if you watch the angle of the front and rear wheels.

As you can see by the pics tires are like new, no major leaks can be found on the machine. A few small seeps appear but nothing that would prevent this machine from working.

Several people have asked if I had manuals for the machine, yes I do. I have the operators manual, the parts book, and a Galion to manufacture / manufacture to Galion cross reference book that goes with the unit.
