We don't have a water line that we can hook this up to, so our testing was limited. We plugged it into 240V 1ph power, and immediately we could hear it start humming. We opened the top to get access to the boiler, which we almost immediately feel heat coming off of. We unplugged it after only a few seconds, to keep from damaging the unit. When the power button was flipped to 'on', the little light on it came on. This is as far as we are able to test.
