Vintage Wood Surveyors Tripod with 3 1/2-8 Threads
This is a used tripod in good usable condition with normal wear indicators. The mounting threads are good as well as the metal shoes. No rot on the wood. It fits the older type transits and levels (K&E, White, etc.) with 3 1/2-8 threads. The legs are single piece and around 59" in length from the point on the shoe bottom to the base of the threads. There is a tag on one of the legs that reads: David White Company No. 9030 Tripod for 3000, 8014, & 7096 Inst. Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
