LM339 Quad Voltage Comparator IC Kit w/ PCB (#1405)
This kit is centered around the very popular LM339 Quad, Precision Voltage Comparator in a 14-pin DIP package. The LM339 operates with a single power supply over a wide range of voltages and has a very low offset voltage of 2 millivolts. It can be used with Single or Dual power supplies from 2v to 36v. The LM339 has open-collector outputs which allow you to drive a relay directly or interface to TTL and CMOS circuits. The low output saturation voltage is compatable with TTL, MOS, and CMOS ICs.
Included in this kit are plenty of different values of 1/4 Watt Carbon-Film Resistors, Ceramic & Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, Signal & Zener & Power Diodes, Trimpots, LEDs, EMI Filters,and IC Sockets. There are also some NPN and PNP transistors that can be used as Output Drivers.
To further help with your circuit development, you also get a NightFire 162 plated-thru hole, blank Proto-Type PCB. This PCB has 4 mounting holes, is 1.1" x 2.0", is 0.062" thick, has .100" centers, is double-sided and made of FR-4 material. Use this PCB to develop your circuits.
