The Tektronix S3 is an active sampling-probe unit with 100 kohms, 2.3 pF input impedance. Up to 2 V of dc offset may be used while maintaining a 2 mV/div deflection factor.
The Tektronix S4 Sampling Head has a 25 ps risetime, DC to 14GHz, 50 ohm input impedance. Variable DC Offset allows signals between +1 V and -1 V limits to be displayed at 2 mV/div. Displayed noise is >/= 5 mV unsmoothed, 2.5 mV smoothed (includes 90% dots)
