Six reeves pheasant hatching eggs ready now

Here are six (plus an extra or two) Reeves Pheasant hatching eggs.
Fertility on the eggs I have in my own incubator has been checked and is running over 90%. That is amazing considering some of those eggs were laid in the snow!
I have several different breeder pens set up with this breed, all with roosters that are at least two years old and were proven last year. I have no more than a 5 hen to one rooster ratio in any of them. With this amount of breeders, you can be assured of fresh eggs.
All my breeders are fed a high protein diet along with oyster shell and a supplement called Vionate. They have all been wormed and vaccinated for Coryza, Newcastle and Larenogitis. They have been treated for Blackhead and are Pullorum free.
If you have never raised Reeves before, be advised that they should be brooded separately from other breeds. Although the Reeves is an extremely aggressive bird as an adult, they don't compete well with chicks from other breeds.
Hatching practices are the same as ringnecks, with a 22 or so day incubation period. The size of the Reeves egg is nearly identical to a ringneck, so you can use the same trays for either breed.
