Law grey gamefowl, yellow-legged, 12+ hatching eggs

(The young stags in the picture are from last year's hatch)
From how it's been told to me, the original greys that E.W. Law bred were yellow-legged and straight-combed. Law was friends with col. Madigan, whose Clarets would every so often throw a grey. Madigan bred these greys, creating a strain of grey fowl that came both white and yellow legged. Madigan kept the white legged greys, and he gave the yellow legged greys to Law.
A later infusion (possibly from one of Madigan's other fowl) would give the greys the dark legs seen more often today.
