I tested the buffer and found that the handle control doesn't work, but when the motor is directly plugged in the motor spins well. I believe that the top control part will need repair, but that the actual motor is in good shape. This unit has a speed control dial on the handle, but we weren't able to test due to the aforementioned problems. This unit will be sold as described and will need a little work.
