This dictation transcription system takes minicassettes. It has a digital LED counter display, wheels for setting volume, pitch, speed and replay, buttons for fast forward, stop, rewind, telephone record, speaker, power, and three buttons with unknown function (one marked with "X|", one marked with "C" and one marked with "H". On the side are a switch for setting 15 or 20 minute tape duration, a three-pin headphone connector (headphones included), and a switch of unknown function. On the back is a round female 8-pin connector labeled "P 600" and a telephone record phono connector. the unit comes with an HMS 61L handset with microphone, speaker, and tape controls.
When plugged in and a tape inserted the unit plays, rewinds, fast forwards, and records correctly. This appears to be a good working unit.
