This is a Variable Film Thickness Applicator Table by Byk Gardner
This is an instrument used to cast a paint or similar film. This consists of a Static table with a 12 inch adjustable casting blade controlled by 2 micrometers. The table itself is 24 inces long wit a 10 inch working width. There appears to be a position for what I guess would be a roller at the end of the table. This is missing. The casting blade and table are in excellent condition and appear to be barely used. This unit is quite heavy.
