This machine is in really good working condition. We have been using in our shop for many years.
lathe also has a coolent pump and reservoir. pump is working and the perforated dranage cover and drainage system is in good condition
I got taper measurment from my tool maker, we put a 1" round bar in the 5c collet ( without live center ) and machined it down to .875 acrossed 3". he gets a .002 taper or run out.
With a live center across the 3" we get .0015 taper or run out
Aslo we have not leveled the machine
