Hp 8970A noise figure meter test good-no error codes
HEWLETT PACKARD 8970A NOISE FIGURE METER
Specified Frequency Range (10 - 1500 MHz). Fully functional with NO ERROR CODES. New battery installed 5-8-2010.
Removed from a working lab. Unit received yearly "in house" Agilent Calibration until it was retired from service "working". It was placed on an equipment storage rack and just sat for a few years after. I know because I worked for the company I acquired this from. Last Agilent Calibration was performed April 2006. Since it just sat for a few years I decided to go ahead and change the battery before listing to avoid the typical E80 and E26 error codes that occur when battery dies. Unit should be good to go for many more years now.
The unit is in good condition with typical scuff here and there from normal bench use over the years. The pull out instruction cards are in good legible condition.
