Basler aviator AVA1000-120KC

-Camera Link compatible interface
-Equipped with Kodak s state-of-the-art CCD sensors
-Excellent imaging results in regards to linearity, dynamic range, and noise level
Scene depicting one candle under a 60watt bulb shot at 24fps with a 25mm c-mount lens. The full sensitivity of this camera was not required to capture the scene. Video info: 1024x1024 cropped to 1024x720 and encoded to x264. Noticeable effects of x264 compression are decreased saturation and lowered contrast. No other processing was done. Rainbow artifacts and aliasing are the results of bayer sensor technology, present in all single chip digital cameras, and can be removed by down-sampling. Whereas consumer cameras handle demosaicing, filtering, and compression onboard, an in-configurable and irreversible process, machine vision cameras offload raw data for increased flexibility and control in post production.
Scene depicting birds in flight captured at the cameras maximum framerate of 120fps and slowed down to 30fps. Shot with a 50mm c-mount lens. Video info: 1024x1024 cropped to 1024x720 and encoded to x264. Noticeable effects of x264 compression are decreased saturation and lowered contrast. No other processing was done. Rainbow artifacts and aliasing are the results of bayer sensor technology, present in all single chip digital cameras, and can be removed by down-resing. Whereas consumer cameras handle demosaicing, filtering, and compression onboard, an in-configurable and irreversible process, machine vision cameras offload raw data for increased flexibility and control in post production.
