The PKM-8 is a durable, feature loaded and sophisticated Access Control Keypad . It is simple to operate by keying in a code which then generates a 12V strike to the electric door lock. A tone will sound and a green LED light will blink confirming that the correct code was entered. Programming and management of the codes is done from the keypad.
The PKM8 is a heavy-duty nickel-plated metal housing capable of withstanding vandalism and tampering. The PKM8 includes 3 interchangeable decorative panels. The features of the PKM8 can be utilized for many applications that require limited, pre-assigned access, such as: AC temp setting, store refrigerator and freezer, warehouse, etc.
The PKM8 can be integrated with other access control means by using the feature that allows remote operation and override.

* Up to 250 of code sets, and 8-digits per code can be programmed to operate the door lock relay
* 10,000,000 optional codes per set
* Technician setting programmable 4-digit code
* In the event that the manager s code is lost the system can be returned to the original factory settings
* As a safety feature, when the wrong code is entered 3 times the keypad locks for 60 seconds and an alarm sounds
* Unlock release time: from 1 to 99 seconds
* Vandalism resistant. Anti dismantling Micro switch is activated when a vandal attempts to dismantle
* Constant door closing status: The system will remind you with a sound if the door is not closed properly (optional if door switch and + 5Vdc P.S. are added)
