Head: Slotted Pan Head (Head is shaped like a "binding" head, but there isn't an undercut)
At first glance these would appear to be slotted "binding" head, but there isn't an undercut area beneath the head - it is completely flat. Some users of hardware recognize the binding head screw from the shape of the top of the head. Technically, it must be listed as a "pan" head.
The end of the threaded shank has a slight taper to aid in starting the screw in the female thread.
