This heavy-duty machine has an extra heavy duty motor, plus solid state, cool-running heat control. Four 50% larger carbon brushes help reduce wear and tear on the brass slip rings.
This highly efficient candy floss producer will run on minumum available electricity. The Econo Floss has been UL listed and it draws about 10 Amps (1200 Watts) on a 120 Volt circuit.
This Econo Floss cotton candy machine has a ribbon-style element - also called a flat wire element. It begins making candy a little more quickly than a machine with a tubular element, because you don't have a bunch of metal to heat up. Both ribbon and tubular machines work equally well, but the ribbon machine responds more immediately to adjustments in the heat control. This is only an issue if you have a bunch of different people running this machine.
