Especially useful for the growth of fibroblasts and other mesenchymally derived cells. Convenient, ready-to-use cellware offers lot-to-lot consistency and reliable cell culture performance. Fibronectin source: Human plasma (source material tested for hepatitis B antigen and HIV-1 antibody). BD BioCoat Fibronectin Cellware is tested for its ability to promote attachment and spreading of BHK-21 cells. Also tested and found negative for bacteria and fungi.
