Collins kwm-380 spectrum display + others

Collins KWM-380/S-LINE Spectrum Display + Other Many other Radios Yeasu/ICOM/Kenwood/K2/3, etc.
IF covered is selectable 10KHz to 60MHz (sorry about the mistake below) The buffer amplifier is a very small PCB wide band amp - to 100MHz. Designed to mount inside the radio enclosure if you need to amplify the IF signal and isolate the load. A very simple install. In this case the KWM380 455Khz IF has plenty of signal amplitude. Install is one solder connection.
See here: http:// /current_products.htm
The unit includes controls for setting up the display, input attenuators, span, etc., etc. You can look at the manual here http:// /Documents.htm
This unit is simple to install just connect to the radios IF and go the set up procedure to select the IF frequency and the amplitude. I have the unit connected to my Collins KWM-380 455KHz IF. I also have the Clifton Z10000B buffer amplifier that comes with the unit so you can connect to the KWM-380 1st. IF of 39.6MHz if you want too.
This unit can be simple set up and will connect to any IF up to 60MHz so it will work with many different radios:
The good news is if you change radios the unit will probably work with the new radio. The power input is 12VDC.
This is a fun but pratical application device. If someone is splattering you can see it and tell them exactly what their signal is doing.
